Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of Dialingo.

Last updated: 22.06.2026

1. Provider and scope

These Terms govern the use of the Dialingo service (the “Service”) provided by Dialingo (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. Our contact and legal details are in the Imprint.

2. The Service

Dialingo is a language-practice tool: you chat with an AI conversation partner that replies and provides corrections to help you practise a language. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial learning and entertainment.

3. Accounts

You sign in via a one-time link sent to your email address; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You must provide accurate information to use the Service.

4. Coins, pricing and payment

5. AI content — important disclaimer

Replies and corrections are produced by an automated AI system and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. They are provided for language-learning purposes only and do not constitute professional, educational, legal, medical, or other advice. Do not rely on AI output for important decisions, and always verify anything you intend to act on.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (a duty whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may rely), and then limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Any further liability is excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your chats and messages; see the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is always available here. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
